Pipsaholic, are you serious!?!?
I'm a 100% TA person, and I love analyzing the markets, and viewing my charts. I got to admit. Many think I fell out of the looney bin, because I track 28 pairs for my trading pleasure, and any other markets someone requests me to. After staring at charts for 7 1/2 years I tend to spot things on a fly and takes me next to no time at all to look at a chart and make a trading decision.
After I read your doc I am thinking, "Whoa!!" If you are actually analyzing all that stuff on 5 different time frames for x amount of markets, I don't know how you have time to sleep.
Motivational videos?!?!? If you need a complete stranger to pump you up and get you motivated for the day, I'm seriously wondering how you are going to do in your trading over the long haul. Do you really want to know who my all-time favorite motivator is? (Hehe, most people know what my answer is.). It is Me (Yes, that is with a capital letter.) AMAF, I really look at it no more than waking up, walking to my home office, turning on the computer, and viewing my charts.
Look, I had a little fun with this. Honestly, though, I know of no one that follows those rules to a T. After 7 1/2 years, if I said I never move my stops or TP's, I'd be lying. The last thing I'm going to do is sit down and have a stranger try and motivate me. But.... if what you are doing has made you a proven winner these last 9 months, then keep doing it. If you are still struggling with your trading, then read what Sunny wrote. It was a figure of speech when I said I wake up, walk down the hallway to my home office, then turn the computer on. I have my quiet time before I make it to the computer every single day....without fail.
BTW, me and Sunny did not collaborate together, but I could not agree with him more when it comes to mentally preparing yourself.
Pips (There are some that call me that too. We might be twins--lol.), keep posting. There are many in this forum that will lend their objective views and support.
