that does matter buddy...cause in real you never start trading with $50,000 or $100000 ....tell me any forex trader who started to trade with that big amount on forex. you always get a better understanding with little money and then turning it to huge sum. you can understand the pip spread more easily. and moreover when you start trading on live account you wont feel any change....it will be all same. so to practice for real i am looking for some demo account with maximum of $200 as balance. i will like to start from $100 account and then take the leverage as much it is provided. but not with that huge sum of 50000 or 1 lac....what do you think

I agree with you completely...I myself did that in earlier days. Unfortunately, no broker provides you with such an account.

So whats the way out?

Open a demo account with as minm deposit as u can...make some deliberate negative trades...(every trade you start will start with -ve because of spread) and reduce it to a more comfortable level.

Thats what I did :thumb:

Hi Raj

If u went for an interview for a job as a trader with a bank/fund company and they asked u in the interview would you accept the offer to manage a fund of 100,000, 500,000 or 5ml for your first yr with us, wot answer would you give in the interview? Think before you answer because it may depend on the answer you give that decides whether u get the job or not.
I will give my answer after you.

Hello Raj

You see it does not matter wot the size of the fund/account is. You need to show that you will only expose a max 10% risk at any one time on fund/account. It does not matter if the size is 100 or 5,000 or 5Ml because your strategy/principles/ MM has to be the same on all. If you risk over 20% at any one time you have a good chance of busting account even if its a small size account.I hope wot i said makes sense?

Have a good wkend.
