U.S. Dollar to UAE Dirham Exchange Rate

I have a question:

According to the graph at the bottom of this page

U.S. Dollar to UAE Dirham Exchange Rate graph show a flat correlation????
How come?

Its always the same exchange rate

Its fixed by the Government there

Under the Government Knows Best Act

Something like that

UAE Dhiram is pegged to US Dollar at 3.675 AED to One US$ for last 20 years. There is a talk either to depeg or revalue but nothing happened so far.

I'm a masters student in business and I'm doing some research on FDI in the UAE. For this I'm looking for some information about the Dirham Exchange Rate over the past 30-40 years. But unfortunatly the link on top of this discussion doesn't work.

Is there somebody here who could help me were I can find this information? I'm looking for a chart and I'm looking for Governmetal desisions on this topic from the UEA.
