I just opened a $250 mini account on anchorfx to see whats the difference between standard account and mini account.
First the account opening and verification process took me 8 hours, the funding by credit card another 12 hours. I opened a 0.01 lot size position on GBP/JPY and the margin used was $1 on a 1:100 leverage account. It earns $0.00925 per pip. Effectively margin used was 0.4% of account balance. So in a way its comparable to micro accounts elsewhere, the only difference is that the margin used is 50% less on anchorfx.
