Question How is Forex market different from the Stock Market in terms of technicals?

How is Forex market different from the Stock Market in terms of technicals?

People say Forex market is the worst to deal with. If the same principles of TA is applied why should Forex market be different from the stock market.

I have not traded in forex until now. But from what I have read and understood, it is a totally different ballgame. T. A. can be similar, but what about quotes? What about placing of orders and execution of them etc.? These are also of utmost importantace. Please note, there is no centralised exchange (such as BSE and NSE) for forex. Quotes are supplied by brokers. All T. A. can go wrong if the quotes are not supplied in real time and orders are not placed and executed in real time. Only that much I can answer now. Take care before you jump in to forex trading.
Thanks and regards

TA principles do not change from market to market. However, tools and periodicity need to be adjusted keeping in mind the volatility & liquidity of the asset class.

In forex, one can make good money with simple trading tools like Trendline, Patterns and S&R levels. However, you need to sit in the trade for longer periods. People run their positions for months and years.

Hi CV!

Shifted base from Delhi to Hyderabad. Hence, almost abscent from posting in the forum, though still enjoying your psychos. Not trading forex yet but am learning tips and tricks from a person who has done it. Diversification in different asset classes help, is not it?

I am a trend Follower. If you follow it on intraday charts, you become a swing trader and if you follow it on Daily charts, you become long term trader.
