Great Amarnath. Glad to see you here.
I am in the market from ERM break in 1992. I fortunately took a hard lesson that time and hence I am still surviving. BTW, What do you think RBA would do on Wednesday? I dont think that they have the data to justify a hike, hence I would go into the meeting with an Aussie Short against EUR based on Fundamentals. Since the cross trades as EUR-AUD, I would buy EUR-AUD. |

I was going thru a material and found the following line:
"...Instead of trying to catch the bottom or the top of a trend, use counter trend moves to create better entry points for an entry that harmonizes with the long-term trend." Now what does it mean? I find this sentence contradicting!!! "...use counter trend moves to ..." = Does the author mean to say that when the long-term trend is UP, we shud make a short entry??? I'm not getting it, plz help. Thanks |

For example, if the trend is UP, then look for any pullbacks (countertrend movements) to go long in the direction of that trend.
