Hi Friends
Since Forex oscillates on a daily basis, can I position trade currencies? By which I mean, use weekly or monthly charts. I have read that day traders rarely make any gains. Is swing trading the only possibility? My interest is in the GBP/USD currency pair. Kindly help. |

The answer to your question is yes.
You need to ask yourself a question though do you have the psychology(hope I got the spelling right, haven't slept for a while) for such trades. GBP/USD can be position traded easily provided you have the temprament and analytical skill. Neo ![]() |

Trading on longer than intra day time frames are certainly a positive development for most initially struggling intra day, our and minute traders.
Viewing the market strictly through charts however is a more important problem. The problems inherent in technical analysis are totally ignored by most beginners. Learn fundamentals. I found an interesting site www.forexboost.com for support and guidance for beginners. |

Keegan: I only postion trade. I never even look at anything smaller than the 4 hour chart and mostly use the daily charts. I think brokers make a lot more money from day traders ... I found a course that teaches a cool method that has made me a lot of money. It is unique from anything I had come across before... you can read about it at this site. http://www.forextradingseminar.com Hope this helps Pipp |

I hold positions for days, sometimes several weeks and would like to get into the habit of holding for months when I see a trend and am already fortunate to be riding it. See my current call on Short EURUSD. If right, I will add progressively to existing position and hold for as long as my internal demons do as they're told. ![]() |

Trade Forex with $250? That's like showing up for a gunfight with a knife. Undercapitalized individuals = guaranteed death! Such fellows are better off spending the money on a good holiday and forgetting about Forex altogether. |
