Can someone tell me how to get the transparent, coloured volume overlay bars in f-chart?

I am getting dark grey coloured overlay bars.

To adjust volume overlay histogram colours

1. Click on "Settings" This can be found in left bottom of Fcharts screen

2. Thereafter click on "Indicator Setup"

3. Thereafter clickon "Colours"

4. In the dropdown box select "Volume Overlay"

5. Box below that dropdown box shows the colour. Click on that box. "COlour Picker" box will openup. Select whatever colour you want click O. K. to close that window. Thereafter click apply. That is it

Hope this helps

Not as an overlay, but in the below window, you can select Volume and it shows red for negative closing and green for positive closing
The graphic at ... ... http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_sPXdJkrTw5...BindalAgro.gif shows a pattern named "Three Outside Up". To be a true "Three Outside Up" the first candlestick should have been green.

Ignoring the last green candle of the pattern, I would class it is as a bullish Advance Block Pattern - i.e. a sign of a bullish reversal in a (short) bearish trend - but then, that's nomenclature (candlestick naming) for you. The following green candle is just a 'confirmation signal'.

And the so-called 'Volume Overlay in a lower chart' is actually 'the Volume overlay on the main chart.'

(Just to get things straightened out, I hope.)
