fcharts vs quotetracker
helo friends,my doubt is do v really download quotetracker software(quotetracker.com)for the fcharts to run?what is the function of quotetracker?does it help in data feed?data can b donloaded from nseindia rt?so y need quotetracker?please reply friends.m new to this forum and really want to download fchart.thanx

For EOD i.e daily data you don't need Quote Tracker. FChart can download data from ***** finance site. For rt data you need to combine FCharts with another s/w to fetch rt data of nse or bse. Combining CoolRc excel sheet developed by cooltetra, a member of this forum, is good for fetching nse rt data from ***** finance site. The advantage of QT is that it fetches nse rt data from nse itself and combining it with FC you ger nse rt data. QT free version does not show you rt data for more than 2 days. However, combining FC with QT you can store the data for many days and retrieve it as and when you need it. Laksh
