I bought stocks of FCL on the last day which was declared by the company, now my broker says that i should have bought the stock 2 days in advance since the stock will get credited only 2 days after the stocks i bought, is this right in that case? Am i not eligible for the bonus stocks. i did speak with the broker (Sharekhan) but it is in vain.
Transcript" Sir you had purchased the share on 12-02-2015. the delivery for the same was done after T+2.but for eligibility the bonus share was that it should be in your demat account. on the ex-date."
