#1
Hi,
I wanted to know where can i get information pertaining to the markets the fastest?
take for example : Jindal stinless went almost up to 18-20% up after the news on anti dumping duty on stainless steel came out.
I wanted to find out a way where the news can be caught as it comes out (almost instantly)

in a nutshell i need the fastest possible way to access news related information.

Thanks guys!

Bloomberg provides the info. in real time pertaining to economic news, business, markets etc. The cost of a terminal is prohibitive for a trader as it is around 6 lac+

Much of the news - even if delayed however can be followed on business channels.

News will be useful for trading only if you get that information a day or much earlier in advance to create a trading position. The moment a news is released anywhere on public domain, all investors/traders will rush to buy/sell and the smart money/Institutional traders will take the opposite position of the retailers.

Even if we know news "fastest" can we profit from it?
If you came to know fastest about anti dumping duty, will you go long or short?
-If you go long, what if the market has already factored in the anti dumping duty and rapidly falls after public news release?
-If you go short, what if the market rapidly rises after public news release?
The market reaction can be rather swift and you may not be able to exit an unfavorable position without major loss.

In the beginning stages of trading it's common to be thinking that we can profit from fast news sources. There could be situations where we can make use of news, but that comes after we learn to trade without news.

But who knows I could be wrong and you may be able to profit from news like that, good luck.

Try some customizable RSS feeds like Pulse by Zerodha but, as RaghuveerJi said, not to hop on to a Trade ,rather to Guage the Market & hone ur Trading Skills.
