There's nothing much one can do about it. The index changes only for a few seconds, and no one cares about Technical Analysts, and the havoc these things wreak on the data. The investors (small or big) are not hurt by this, so why bother??

How do you think the articles appear in papers?? Do you think the journalists have knowledge of financial markets?? They depend on financial market professionals to come up with ideas... thats why you find lots of articles with hidden agendas in the financial press.
