Sold shares brought on NSE in BSE

#1
Here is my problem. I had brought shares of Shasun Pharma sometime back on NSE. The stock zoomed today and when it broke my target of 200, I was in college without any access to a secure computer so I asked my brother to sell it. Now he made a mistake in selling it..instead of selling it on NSE, he sold it on BSE. Now my question is..1) Is it possible to purchase shares on NSE and sell it on BSE (Shasun is listed on both exchanges) 2) If yes, then will there be any additional costs..if so how much 3) Also how soon will the sale be reflected (it just says executed in my trade book)

Regards

Upto my knowledge, only delivered shares sold like this. But, you trade on same day. so, you may be paid 10% or 20% ( Circuit limit) fine to sold exchange.
give me feed back.

What do you mean when you say : "sometime back on NSE" When, earlier today or a few days ago????
I mean to ask "Did this happen the same day, the Buy and Sell"? If yes the situation is a bit tricky.
If you bought a day earlier and sold today then there is no problem at all.

If you had shares in your DP, then it is absolutely no problems. You can sell it in any exchange in which it is listed.

What this means is that if you bought shares on Monday (T), they will be settled and you will shares in your DP by T+2 (Wednesday). You can sell it anytime in any exchange and even get it rematt'd if you so choose

As far I know, it shouldn't cause any trouble.

Isn't arbitrage done through same way?

But i must say, i dont trade cash or delivery, and dont have first hand experience, hence can't say authoritatively.

BTW share your experience once you receive contract notes and settlement is done!
