If you are a very long term investor you can hold on Tata tele i.e more than 3 years. It's better you cut your losses as far as others are concerned. Before buying just take a look at their quarterly results and do some simple research like the sector the company is in, the future of that sector and how is the company poised to take advantage of the growth in it's sector. Dont buy on rumours but on company's trak records.

This is my view. There might be people more knowledgeble than me here so wait for a few more replies and decide.

Qty Buy Current Diff Total
3000 24 20 4 12000
4000 21 13 8 32000
1000 93 68 25 25000
1500 70 58 12 18000
87000

Quick calculations show that you are loosing 87000 bucks ... !!!! (My portfolio is all of 50 odd thousands)...

Ya, but just remember one thing, if you want to book loss do it in part, dont sell all stock or a single stock in one go, u might gain profit in this, and u wont regret if any of your stock moves up just after you sell

Please check the charts. Answer written over there.
It's suggested to learn TA before you take positions once again.

yeah very true @ aca trader ,...

Undoubtabily Traderji is always here to help each other ,.. but one must know where n what ur doing ? Its not always necessory to follow what others follow but its always necessory to follow a system. N who doesn't follow any system ( entry, exit, book profit/loss, avg points etc..) , he ends up with big losses ,.. i didnt check the charts yet about all of the scripts u mentioned above.. but then too ...

Arvind mill --> A confirmed Sellin signal below 67. Strength is only above 72. better not to enter such stocks again without any further buying indication.

Bongai ref --> Should Exit below 55. A free fall expected. May be about 7-8%.

Ispat Ind. --> Well , i cant suggest u to exit from this stock, till its break 10 . I would definately n strongly suggest to average ur position at current levels ( Though technically its not allowed to do so, bt i hope it wont break 10. ) you may get out of this stock in a pullback rallly if u can average this stock . ya but its also strongly suggested that one shouldnt be invested below 10.

And about tata tele --> Even in that too , dont stay invested below 16 i guess. dont book ur loss at such levels where u end up with no pants on ur legs. but better be cautious next time.

All the stcks u bought , ( must be bought on the news at higher prices ) are market underperformer. They cant move even in the strong market. So next time if ur a long term investor then go for the fundamentals rather then going on the news for short term. " A " group stocks are always suggested for the long term investors.

And remember my words my dear friend ,... " BUY STOCKS ON THE ROUMORS, SELL ON THE NEWS " dont go against it , u might face a big loss .. I would suggest u to hold for the all stocks , n try to exit on rally with minimizing ur loss.

Dont lose ur heart, coz this market will give u profit. Only thing is u need to take ur entry at the right time. Ask Tech Experts over here before takin position in any stock. Its for free here.

All the best.

Regards,..

Darsh.

Thanks guys,

Specially….. aca trader & darsh goswami for that valuable advice.

I bought these stocks on special tips; they told me when to buy, but never told when to exit.
Never mind … one should learn from mistakes.
From now on I will never follow tips blindly.

Can you tell me how to know the strength of a stock, when to enter & exit?

Which one is important TA or FA? How do I learn this analysis?
