Hello,
as the Subject suggests i wanted to get a fair idea of what are your average monthly return rates. Also kindly include how long you have been trading (experience)
I am new to the markets and wanted to get an idea of expected gains/losses i may encounter in the days to come.

Thank you very much for your replies Yeomanly and Saga. Guess i had a tadbit high goals than yours but again goals are in vain unless they are achieved.

So Saga, are you a long term or short term investor?

Hi,

I dont want to be a long term or a short term investor. My only objective is not to loose money in the market (it is not same as making money)...

If I dont loose money by trading short term, I would trade short term (I dint loose money by participating in the UWB hiest) and if I dont loose money by trading long term I would do that (there are many more examples where I am making sure that I dont loose money by trading long term - but I dont want to post them here becuase I dont have rationale for investing in them - they are pure speculative calls).

Its funny how i find your startegy intreging even though its completely different to my goals/thinking.
When i started off i too had the two fears every investor has, the fear of losing out on a good stock and the fear of losing but now i guess i am begining to see my money in points rather than in money terms and so i am trying to take losses while keeping my profits big
As an example i invested in a stock last friday (two trading days ago) and today i opend my portfolio only to see the stock giving me a profit of 18 odd percent , i think i was happier when i made my first 50 rupees from the market!
