Hi Krishna,
Resitances (R1,R2...) Are Calculated From The Pivot Point....Therefore, If The PP Is Lower Than NF Close Then It Is Quite Normal To See Some Of The Resistances Below NF Close. Will Put The Second Part Later During The Night. Happy & Safe Trading SavantGarde |

Hi Raj,
S/L Is Something One Must Be Comfortable In The Whole Scheme Of Trading. There Are No Hard & Fast Rules, This Conclusion I Have Come To Because Considering The Fact There Are More Rules Of S/Ls Than There Are Indicators & Trading Setups. Hence, In The Pivot Posting One Can Follow Immediate Resistances Or Supports, Probably A Little Above Or Below As S/L Strategy. Alternatively, You May Exit A Postion At A Point Where The Move May Make You Uncomfortable....In Short, Immediately In Your Uncomfortable Zone. Happy & Safe Trading SavantGarde |

Hi Krishna,
Here Is The 2nd Part (Explanation For BUY, BUYHOLD, SELL & SELLHOLD) Triggers Happen After The Market Because The Calculations Are Done Based On EOD (End Of Day Data) Therefore, Any Action Warranted Can Only be Taken On The Following Trading Day. 1) If EOD Calculations Has Triggered A BUY Then One Should Take A Long Position When The Market Opens Or Ideally A Little After The Market Has Opened & The S/L Be Adjusted As Per The Update 2) Ofen I Am Asked, Why At Times The S/L Is Higher Than The Close Now When You Have A S/L Higher Than The Close, That Is The Point Where A Couple Of Things May Happen: a) Postion Doesn't Move Anywhere Close To The S/L b) There Is A Gap-Up & That Is When You Lock-In Some Of That Gain By The Higher S/L Being Discussed. 3) What Happens If, Higher or Lower S/L Gets Triggered a) That Is The End Of The Postion For That Day b) If The Posting Still Shows A BUYHOLD Continuation For The Following Day, There Are A Couple Of Things That Can Be Followed Depending On An Individuals Risk Appetite c) One Can Take A Long Postion In Coninuance To Your Previous Days Postion or Long Postion Maybe Entered A Little Above The New S/L For That Particular Day. Similarly, One Would Follow The SELL & SELLHOLD Trigger & Update Now, From BUY & BUYHOLD If The S/L Has Triggered & Next Days Update Indicates Fresh Trigger Of SELL, Then One Should Go Short & Follow All The Rules Outlined Above. Exceptions To The Rule Is, One Can Take Profit At Any Point That One Wants To.....Same Goes For S/L, Depending On Ones Risk Appetite. Especially, Where Money Is In Question, It Is Best To Gain Enough Faith In The System Through Diligent Following & Analysing The Systems Performance In Various Types Of Market & Making Notes Of Your Observation, Such As Knowing What Kind Of Market System Performs Better & What Kind Market It Is Lacking In Performance. Knowing The Strengths & Weaknesses, Will Go A Long Way In Developing Your Faith In The System. Ofcourse, Individual Personalities Having Affinity To A System Is Important. Whatever System One Adopts, In A Way Does Become Your Second Wife If You Already Have One. Do Let Me Know, If I May Have Missed Anything Or You Have Any Query. Happy & Safe Trading SavantGarde |
