Timken india
can anyone tell about listing of timken india, earlier tata timkin ? is it delisted, or changed ? i have checked nse india' site , thru which i could trace the change of name from tata timkin to timkin india. but not seen anywhere in current days. my father-in-law has 154 shares of it.
pls. help

Timken India Limited , co-promoted by The Timken Company, USA (TIMKEN) and Tata Iron and Steel Company Limited (TATA STEEL), was incorporated in 1987 as Tata Timken Limited. This was the first ever joint venture of The Timken Company. Till March, 1999, both the promoters, i.e. Timken and Tata Steel, were holding 40 % each of the subscribed equity capital of the company with the remaining 20 % held by public.
In 1999, Timken acquired inter-alia Tata Steel's 40% equity holding and consequently the company's was changed to Timken India Limited effective 2.7.1999. The shares of Timken India Limited are listed on the stock exchanges at Mumbai, Calcutta and Magadh. Timken India is primarily engaged in manufacture, sale and export for sale of antifriction bearings, components and related parts. The company is also engaged in import and purchase for resale and act as a Sales Agent for the products manufactured by The Timken Company. Registered Office Bara. Thanx for the info. The shares r already appearing in demat statement. however, when i tried to look for the current price of the stock it is not showing anywhere. I have data of NSE, since i am trading in NSE scrips only. The fact, is i got the changed name from NSE site only. what to do ?
