Actually i purchased them and i converted them to cnc, i tried 4 or 5 times to sell but the status showed me rejected , blocked for nse_cm , when i asked them they replied me those kept were being auctioned and rest of that i told you above, and he also told me that that stock only traded 101 thats why

what does that mean please tell, does that going to do any loss for me , but i don't know what is wrong in buying that stock, if then why my broker allowed me to buy

thank you

Were you Selling intraday? Buy and Sell same day! OR was it that you bought yesterday and Selling Today? In case of latter, system might not have allowed you to Sell yet as the Stock was not being reflected in your DP holdings.
However if you bought it the same day you were selling immediately
refer the matter to NSE ! Now a days one gets email and even SMS fron the Xchanges with details of Trades done on that day. Did you get a confirmation of this trade.

I am pasting what ever the message i got from them

The said Scrip was blocked by our RMS Dept. because the particular scrip is
> highly illiquid. The total volume in the scrip today was only 101 trades.
>
> There is a high probability that you won't be able to square-off the
> short-sell position & the shares being auctioned, thereby you suffering a
> heavy loss.

Please explain what is the meaning of that

the broker here is actually very correct and professional.
buy shares on day 1 delivery on day 3
sell shares on day 2 delivery on day 3

1 hour gap between the two.
another point.. being an illiquid stock, there are chances that u may not recieve them, u may get them later in auction. this implies that u will not be able to deliver the shares u sold on day 2 and wd have to face auction too.
the broker waited for the shares to get delivered and then allowed u to sell them.

buy shares on day 1 delivery on day 3 : T+2
sell shares on day 2 delivery on day 3 : T+1 ???

really so - we know the concept is T+2 - so in case of selling stocks - is it T+1?

my mistake.. the shares wd be delivered the next day.. but there is always a chance, especcially in low liquidity counters that u do not recieve the shares.
in which case u wd have to face auction urself. this is why it is advisable to wait for dekivery in low liquidity counters, before selling them.

regards

ps . the earlier scenario that I spoke of, when there is a gap of around an hour between payin and payout occurs when to settlements are clubbed together.
