Need help with sharekhan
Hai there,
Currently i am using sharekhan fast trade terminal...i bought 100 mphasis shares and sold it the next day...now can you tell the broakerage and the taxes that i will be entitiled to pay...(delivery based charges are 0.5+ stt and so on)....all i want to know is whether i will be paying 0.5 % brokerage for buying the shares and 0.5% brokerage for selling the share..so it will add upto 1% + taxes...is that the case???

No .. Ull be paying just to buy ...... Selling costs nothing . Only reasons brokers just give buy calls but never inform precisely when to exit

Hi Karthik,
How is your Trading, for a budding trader every trading day is a learning day. concentrate on learning from market rather than lossing. make less number of trades....  Then, Sharekhan charges a commision of * 0.1 % for Buy and 0.1% for sell. OR * 50 Rs. per Trade (Which ever is greater) Regards, Baskaran Rathinam.

hai baskar...thanks for the advive...i think the message was god sent...however you never answered my question abt delivery based...is it the same as intraday?? which means u pay for both sell and buy??? the reason is becoz i have been charged on both buy/sell...
