Difference in FII data!!!

Hello everyone,

I suddenly noticed one thing about FII data which is very confusing to me. The FII figures given by SEBI website and NSE website are diffrent. What that really mean??? Here are the latest figures...

Two reasons -
Sebi figures apply to the previous trading day.
NSE data does not include certain transactions.

The SEBI figures are reported the next day... so the date 3rd October actually is the value bought/ sold by the FIIs on the previous trading day (in this case 29th Sep).
The NSE figures are for the same day, but are provisional, and tend to change a lot.
