10:30 am Market movement !!

OK I seriously need to know Why markets move a lot between 10.15am to 10.35 am ??
Its very frustrating to know that something is going to happen at that time and not knowing why and which side market might move!!. I have to stay out at this time fearing a loss as I have lost money. My balance today is 11000/- and once it was 90000/- Either I am gonna loose my confidence of reasoning or either I will have to leave trading.

Please someone answer my question..

Dont know the reason, but there are some time slots where markets move.

One is europe opening, which from this monday is at 12:30 in the afternoon. Also, I have seen a swift move coming and continuing many times at EXACTLY 1:00 pm.

Dont know about 10:15 though

And dont loose confidence.

I know it has moved a lot between 11.07 am to 11.18 am and I know you mean to say no one knows why they move and you want to point out that no one can answer my question....

But...

The market movement from 10.15 am to 10.35 am is seen almost daily!!

I am very active in my trading volume at that time, so sorry cant help it, if my volumes move the markets.

Been trying to get I3 for slicing my orders, but heck, Omnesys says they cant split up one lot of Nifty any further

FII are from European countries or UK or from US lot of time difference here its morning and they have evening means Daaru time so after 2-3 Large pegs it become Volatile

hmmm...minifty have been discontinued, so your single lot orders cannot be sliced by using Omnesys Algo....bad luck...

Yes you are right. Market does show swift movement at 1:00pm. Same thing also happens somewhere close to 11.30 am.

I have a feeling these moves are related to big traders who can face serious consequences and hence probably take a safer side to stay out of market at those times. But I am not sure, its just a guess. Correct me if I am wrong.


I would never expect a right answer to my question from a big trader:annoyed:. Why would a big trader make small traders smart in any way and loose his edge?
