Volatilty is measured by Beta which u can find at the NSe's site. Volatility is maximum at MArket Tops and bottoms Volatilty is measured by the Indicator called Standard Deviation. U can just check that in any charts.. thanks and reagrds

If the stock moves 2% upon the 1% movement of its index its beta (or volatility or Risk) is 2.00. If it is 0.5% on 1% movement of the index beta is 0.5. The higher the beta more volatile (or risky) the stock is considered. cheers m
