Question is when market will go down? how much it will go down? and how long? If the down tred is for longer period of time then it is better to invest in FD and get 8% rather than taking any risk in market...that's what I feel at 12000 level.....I will start investing only below 9500 level and that too in only A Grop shares based on their valuation at that time...

In response to Jigs080806 opinion I fully disagree to his arguement.
1.We do not know how far the market will rise. We keep on money with Fixed deposit and earns 8% interest and at the fag end of bull run and in despair not to lose the bull run,we enter the market and lose money. 2. In time of huge fall ,we as investors have to take minimal risk to get better returns from the market. 3.Profit from market arrives from taking CALCULATED RISK and not investing in Bank FD or PostOffice deposits. |

In my book, the stocks one must buy when market falls substantially are ITC, Infosys, Maruti, ACC, Cipla, and Bajaj Auto. These are steady state growth stories and buying at lower end of their annual high low is the right strategy for a long term investor. |

I am tracking TCS from the first day ... after the bonus issue it has a very strong support at 875/- and it always bounce back around that level ....
I f you get anywhere below 900 buy it because seeing the company performance it will always go up.... my target for TCS is 1200 in next 4-5 month |
