Regarding : RELIANCE ENERGY
Hi All,
recently i got 15 shares of RELIANCE ENERGY credited into my demat account. I dont know how. I never bought those shares. i guess those are some bonus shares. I am holding 10 shares for reliance india and 750 reliance nature and 650 shares of reliance pertoleum. can anyone tell me where from I got these shares

Probably you were holding around 200 shares of Reliance Energy Ventures Ltd
go thru the corporate announcement below - Reliance Energy - Allotment of equity shares 8/7/2006 Reliance Energy Ltd has informed that the Committee of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 07, 2006, has allotted 9,17,34,781 equity shares of Rs 10 each to the shareholders of the erstwhile Reliance Energy Ventures Ltd (REVL), in terms of the Scheme of Amalgamation and Arrangement between REVL and the Company, and their respective shareholders and creditors ("Scheme"), as sanctioned by the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, vide order dated June 23, 2006, The aforesaid shares were allotted to over 16.09 lakh shareholders in the ratio of 7.5 equity shares of the Company for every 100 equity shares of REVL, who held shares as on August 05, 2006 (being the book closure from August 01, 2006 to August 05, 2006).
