Hi Softtouch,
Most of us, who are sitting on cash and waiting for market to creash, are having the same question in mind. Yesterday I was going through charts of all A group shares (hitory of 5 yrs). And to my surprise most of the A group shares (pick any for Sensex) over last 5 yrs was able to give returns of 500% (5 times in 5 yrs). I know this may be because of unpredictable rally which we show during this period. But if market goes down to 9000 again (considering good results of all companies 6000 looks impossible), we can invest in any A group company (any sensex stock, all are good). Go for one which is not in news, which no one suggests. |

Hi Friends,
Many thanks for opening this wonderful topic. Investing in bear markets is a difficult thing. But if done well, profits are huge. My experience By investing at a total crash point, the return I made was over 1000% in short span of over4 years. Breaking barriers into millionaires private territory happens reality.Financial Freedom, the dream of everyone comes true. Define Financial freedom Financial freedom is that thing where your income a day is above 3000 us dollars(Rupees 1.38 Lacs a day) for a time that allows you overall income of Rs 3.5 croes. What it does? It allows you to live any where in the world for limited time for normal sight seeing pleasure. Point is Once you make money over a limit barrier,it grows by itself. All the trouble is till you reach the barrier. Right now only two vehicles to go there Real estate with high investment and stocks with low investment. decide now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first and simplest emotion which we discover in the human mind, is curiosity. - Edmund Burke rvlv Last edited by rvlv; 20th August 2006 at 10:05 AM. |

i think Index stocks would be the best.
Plus the midcap stocks like Balrampur would be the best. |

Is the market bearish?
IS THERE DOWNSIDE? what will happen to all paddy stored if rain comes? The answer is in the chart nifty analysis-a post recently made by me. There is nothing wrong in thinking and getting ready. Has anyone foreseen the 840 point market crash sometime ago? What should I do after market crashed 840 points, do it now-nike policy or wait till happen next time? I KNOW 90% OF THE GUYS CHOOSE OPTION-TWO. DONT GET CAUGHT NAPPING TOTALLY UNPREPARED WHEN OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS YOUR DOOR.iT NEVER LOOKS BACK RVLV |

Excuse me for suggesting that this is a rather simplistic statement and could be dangerous if implemented literally. For example, aluminum prices have tumbled recently and I am sure a couple of A grp shares in this space will now have a bearish outlook. Again, for example, accounting for pension provisions may undergo some radical changes (recently mooted but deferred), which could affect several banks. So one could be treading on slippery ground here also. I would recommend at least some fundamental analysis b4 choosing stocks to buy. Rgds AGILENT ![]() |

When bulls rule go long and when bears roost ... short .. short .. short. This is for traders only. Make the trend your friend. To make this a successful exercise, trade only in liquid stocks.
