Equities Update
We expect to see a quiet start on the opening in Europe today with a neutral bias and all eyes on the earnings reports that will be out today and with a possible rate hike from ECB Thursday and the important Job Report from US Friday, we think we will see some quiet sessions today and tomorrow.
US Stocks struggled yesterday to get any traction all day as last-week's impressive rally prompted some modest profit-taking. On the upside, Apple Computer, up 3,61% gained after it was upgraded to "buy" from "neutral" at Bank of America and Exxon Mobil rose more than 1 percent after J.P. Morgan upgraded the oil behemoth to "overweight" from "neutral." More Information
