***** NSE ticker symbols for the following please..
Dear friends,
Can someone please let me know the NSE ***** ticker symbols for the following?? I tried all possible search combinations and I could not get  .Centurion Bank of Punjab. ITD CEMENTATION NECTAR LIFESCIENCES LIMITED MSP STEEL PIRAMYD RETAIL LTD CENTURYPLYBO ERA CONSTRUCTIONS INOX LEISURE LTD. JIK INDS KEC INFRA MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD. SOLAR EXPLOSIVES LTD. I did download the ***** ticker symbols from another thread but these are not available in those downloads and also with my search in *****.. Thanks in advance for your help. Just add ".NS" (without quotes) to the NSE symbols you will get ***** symbols. If it is more than 9 characters long take only first nine chrs of nse symbol and add ".NS". Hope this helps. pankaj

Thanks for the tip..I was able to breakdown the list now a litttle down but still am not able to find the following stocks.. :-(

in general, ***** symbol for any stock traded in NSE is the first 9 characters of NSE symbol + ".NS", .NS being the NSE exchange code. the exceptions to this are those NSE symbols which contain the ampersand char (&) within the NSe symbol. examples are AXIS-IT&T, J&KBANK, M&M, M&MFIN and SB&TINTL. hope this will minimises the issues on code correspondence. other members may further supplement. happy investing when it's time for that.  murthymsr
