Please forgive me, if I am assuming too less. I was not aware of this when I started. The intention here is to help.

When I enter a trade, I don't put a stop-loss order with it. Instead, I put another order, as a stop loss.
Let me elaborate on this...
Say, I have entered long on MTNL @ 145 and I have decided on a stop-loss of 143. Then on entering the trade @ 145, I will immediately put a market order @ 143. To place a stop-loss order @ market, the price should be greater than 143 at that time. The reverse is the case of Short positions. Now, as the market moves in my direction, I keep on moving my stop loss(change my second order). Do remember to cancel the stoploss when you have booked your gains and no need to do anything in case you are stopped. You are saved the trouble .

Take caution using this method, as I have observed that some time, your stop is just hit and then market continues on its way. But that is a different story, probably my SLs are too near.

Best Regards
Coool.
Thanks Cool...I will try it... ....but if you place sell order @143 when price is 145...will trade not execute immidiately? .....i think if you put a sell order below market price (or buy order above market price), order execute immidiately...

One of my friend has told me a different method.....first I will try it & if it works....i will post it here.

Regards,

Hey no, don’t place a sell order at 143. Instead place a market order and mention stop-loss as 143. I have enclosed a screenshot for your reference.
Note that the current market price is 146, and we are putting a sell order at market and stoploss 143(less than the CMP).

Best Regards
Coool.

Hi!

I do not understand. I think Fed by hiking rate and giving weak direction for another hike has made that fall more likely increasing. What happened with this, all assest classes like gold, crude, stocks, etc. are up. More inflation, more fear, and in the end if not in near term more rate hikes.

Moreover I read in some newspaper Kotak Bank gives 8% interest of 11 month deposit. I think interest rates are rising and become more favorable and less risky investment.

Your comments are appreciated.
