Have Patience.

I think u have set the bar too low. For the risks we undertake we shd hope for at least 20 % a yr

But talking of 10 %, you heard Ashwini Gujral's prediction on Thursday (after the crash) ? He said in medium term market will settle at 6000-7000 (probably influenced by a famous HongKong based Invetsment guru who predicted the same on CNBC earlier that day), and he also said all one has to do is short every morning and collect 10 % by evening

Hope for his sake he kept away from the markets yday !

AGILENT

PS Seriously this has become like a casino now ...(in school fates they have a card game called Under 7 ... I find some similarities with the markets of these days) . Day traders can choose heads or tails every morning and decide their strategy, rather than breaking their heads and hearts over charts and trendlines

well, the indian markets have become like casino (as Aglient) put it. There are many bakra lured by the markets (i want to day trade, can u guide me?). heard so many times here.

Imagine, internet spreading every urban house hold. all house wives sitting on computers to make fast buck? well there are many small fishes coming to market to be eaten.

They have all emotions (Greed, Fear, & Hope) and loose money. Its terrible there with so many people loosing money.

Hear lots of NRI's also lost money there. FII's can play in F&O, but not NRI's. NRI's can do only delivery trading, so wait 2 days for your shares to go below 30% .

Such an imbalanced Markets, makes money only for FII's, Operators and Brorkerage firms and not for common people.

Monday is anybody's guess. frist 10 mins decide who has the upper hand. Say if Bulls manage to open it up say 50 points and keep it up, shorters get erratically MAD and will start Short Covering (there is lot of OI there).

If Shorts can hold, then Bulls are in damn s***t. Its gambling going on there.

Mutual Funds buying and FII's selling. FII's buying and MF selling very hard.

They all are taking revenge on one and another, since all of them got hit badly during the FALL.

I wish small fish to keep quite, till the OCEAN WAVES calm down. Sanity will return to these markets slowly, when we see markets are quite.

Now its a Strom and one has to face it by sitting a side?

Satya

Well what I meant was at least let the nifty trade above its 200 day moving average(conventional TA),he has lost a lot of money in any case. And with due respect to Mr.Gujral(he is a lot of bull{u know what}).Mr.Faber is ok.But i rarely listen to these experts.I think(though i am young)u shud learn yourself rather than rely on anyone else. Then even if u loose money u can blame urself.

Regarding Kitchen, you really meant Blast Furnace , I suppose.. Only steel should stay put. Rest will be ashes.

hai, are'nt we traders ?. are we bothered by the way the market moves ? these are questions one must ask . at the end of the day we should go short if the trend is short and go long if the trend is long!!!, so that in day trading we may get 7 out of 10 trades right.
bye

Somehow I feel something is definately wrong... global factors aside, the ops are exiting left right & center, the bear ops have turned on the heat now... every where signs of a bigger fall are coming, the negative noise by media is definately not innocent, be careful guys.

yesterday I think I read atleast 2/3 places in newspaper aboutprice manipulation & probe been done into that, sadly I think this is not the small time manipulation but a kp kind bigger scale one done in the a group shares. Do you notice how the volumes have been halved.. because usually kp style rigging created big volumes..

all these are just my views take them with handfull of salt
