Is ICICIDirect cheating me?

Okay. I am not sure whether ICICIDirect is at fault here or maybe I am making some mistake.

On Friday I traded in Maruti Futures contract. The contract note shows that I bought a few lots with the timestamp of 9:23:38 AM for between the prices of 977.95 & 981.45. Now the problem is that my charting software is showing that the highest price for Dec futures for Maruti during the minute of 9:23 am was 979.55. If that was the highest price, then how could my trades have been executed at above prices of 980 ??

Similarly, I had sell trades with the trade time 10:23:46 with the prices varying between 985.15 & 978.2. Again, my charting software shows that the lowest price traded for the minute of 10:23 is 984.75. If then how the hell were my trades executed at much lower prices also?

Before picking a huge fight with ICICIDirect, I want to be sure my software wasn't showing wrong prices. Can anyone check on their software whether the prices my software saying are correct or not.

From my past experience of 3 yrs with icicidirect, I guess its highly unlikely that there could be a mistake from their side. I haven't seen such issues like that with options, futures data.
However, i might be wrong. But its worth calling customer care and ask for the transaction details recorded from their end.

The prices I have quote are gross prices (before transaction costs).. the prices at which the trades have happened.. I am quoting prices from the contract note... from the gross price column.

Well yes, one could call customer care but they would also quote the prices mentioned in the contract note itself.. i already know those. i first need verification from someone else that prices shown in my charting software were correct..

So yes, maybe you are right in all probability. which is why i want to chk first. I tried NSE trade verification, but I am unable to register there cause it asks me to enter a number which they send via sms, which I have not recd yet. Tried twice.

The number is not sent by SMS. When you are in the last step of entering the SMS number, on the same screen you will see the sms number at the left hand side upper corner, Just enter that number.
