TCS Bonus

Hi All,

I have one query regd the TCS 1:1 Bonus. What does this mean?

my understanding is for every share of TCS held by me, i will be getting one more TCS share. But I am not sure about the price. Will there be any decrease in that?

Seniors please throw some light on this.

If they announced bonus, then you will have 2 shares each worth half of the present price..

Before the bonus issue, or in expectation of a Bonus issue, stock prices do shoot up.. they are known as pre-bonus prices. But they come back to their original prices soon after the issue..
