Whither Maruti?

#1
Hello everyone,
Any idea where Maruti Udyog is headed from here?
LTP=840 as of 23/3/06 @ 12:35pm
Feb sales were not too good, but the stock recently saw a high of 943.90 on 8th March, 2006 probably on the news that excise duty was reduced from 24% to 16%. But then while the rest of the Auto sector has been enjoying a better ride, this stock has been going down!!?? Why?
Is it time to buy April future?

Hello Seniors,

I hope you have not abandoned this "sub-forum" in favour of more active forums elsewhere :) But I thought it was the right place to post stock specific queries. HELP! Can I steal a couple of minutes of your time to comment on Maruti, please!?

The stock started moving today. But ended at the same spot as yesterday.
Prev: 851.4 Open: 840 Hi: 862.9 Lo:838 Close: 851.4

It has a large amount of rollovers in F&O space for next month.
All helpful comments appreciated...

Price Banding...Freezing...and Maruti!

Hello Seniors,

Sorry if you feel cheated, but I am desparate to get your attention to my query. :) Or, alas, is it possible that none of you tracks Maruti? Or, is it that Traderji just maintains this thread "for my eyes only!?" ;)

I pray to the Gods of Sensex and Nifty,
From this deep darkness, please lift me.
My query is not 'terse', for better or worse,
But save me from the tyranny of no verse!

Maruti, anyone? :)

Sorry about the delay in replying. Maruti has been taking constant support from its 30DMA. It did so again on the 23th, when it made a low of 831. Since then its gone up by around 20 bucks.
Its RSI is now around 55, which means its in neutral territory. The push that had taken Maruti to around 930 levels had also taken the RSI to overbought levels, from where the stock corrected. If you see the charts you'll also notice a spurt in volume on the way to 930, which basically shows euphoria...

Thanks Ivanboesky. It's already up to 870 in cash market today. Thanks to our wonderful MSEB, I could only log on today after a gap of a couple of days. I hear that people are bullish on it for April.
