Question Amara Raja Batteries

Traderji,

Amara Raja Batteries has been moving in a band b/w 79 to 83 for quite sometime. yesterday moved to 85. Days low was 79.50 High 89.90 and closed at 85.95 at NSE. Volumes at 3,55,516 shares yesterday. I have gone thru the data for this stock for the last ten years. It stays in a range for about 15-20 days and then moves up. is there anything cooking up in this counter. whenever it breaksout of the range, it moves up very fast and then get into a trading range. Could you comment on this stock, Traderji?

Rgds,

Raja Krsnan.

the share touched highest Rs.343.20 in mar 99 next Rs.313.10 in Jan01.
now it has bagged oe order for approx 1 lakh batteries from maruti. but they have been suppliers for ford and other auto companies too. the storage battery market is highly competitive. for short term will be ok
