An Important Question !!
Hi,
I've 10,000 shares of Ishwar Medical Services. It looks like that the company has been delisted. Can we sell the shares of delisted companies? Please explain how? Thanks, GAJ Last edited by gaj; 17th March 2006 at 11:42 AM.

Sorry, since the shares have been delisted, you cannot sell it on the exchange. The only way is to find someone who is willing to buy the shares from you off-market. Anyway, the last traded price before delisting was 9 paise. Is it worth all the trouble for that sum of money?

but, I read a message at www.myiris.com.. willing to buy this share at 1 Rs. /share. Other thing is that I have these share in my icicidirect account in demat form. How to do the offmarket transation with these shares in demat form. thanks again! GAJ

Off-market deal will mean giving your DP a transfer instruction to transfer the shares to the account of the person who has bought the shares from you.
May be a good deal for you if someone is willing to pay a rupee... but then do some research as to why... maybe the company is going to relist again, and at a better price??

Get in touch with brokers / institute who deal with unlisted comapnies share. As there are many such companies which are privately held by investors - Remember it is going to cost you Money & Time you need to ascertain if it is really worth the effort?

you are right aca_trader, but the problem is that I found this offer while searching through google. The offer mail was posted in sept. 2005. I tried to contact the guy but there was no response from him. But, this means that there could be buyers for this scrip at 1 Rs. or who knows ...may be more... !!
that's why I'am bit curious to know how can I sell this scrip? thanks,
