Moving average

#1
Dear Respected Traders,

I had bought 200 shares of TCS yesterday @ 1023.00 Rs. The stock finally closed at 1015.95 and on www.moneycontrol.com it was noted that "TCS has moved below its 30 day simple moving average today". I need to get out of TCS on Monday. Would you gurus suggest me to hang in a bit on Monday or get rid of the stocks as soon as the markets open.

After registering at www.traderji.com, I came to know that there are statistics called as indicators :) (Yep a true newbie in the market for less than a month). I just understood what SMA and EMA are, but still did not understand how to interpret them. That is should I be getting out if SMA or EMA moves down or is it temporary. Can you gurus point me to any learning materials on various indicators of stock market and how to interpret them and use them to make more informed decisions? Right now I kind of depend on blind guess :( and inputs from my sharekhan RM.

Thanks a lot for your time and hope that all of you have a great weekend.

Thanks and Regards
Ravi
