the first pick i would like to mention is nrb bearings
although whatever i mention as far as fundamentals of the company wont be gud enough to take an investment decision but the key reasons are as follows: cmp-500 1. this year it would end up with an eps of 35-37 range and abt 44-46 cash eps 2.market cap of only 494 crores which for a company like this is quite low 3.ever improving margins 4.gud industry-auto ancilliary a sunrise sector 5.low debt/equity ratio 6.another very comforting factor is 85% promoter holding and 7% mutual fund holding i beleive this is quite an undervalued stock concerns obviously r that i dont know the management quite well although this has been a consistent company .last year it paid a dividend of 10/- another concern is the low liquidity. i beleive it should be a gud investment.i think a person having a longer term horizon should look for oppurunities in small-midcap companies bcose such undervaluation of quality midcaps is unsustainable so better be a contrarian while largecaps r getting overheated. and as far as targets r concerned this is fundamental analysis so levels cannot be indicated.as rakesh jhunjunwala says-"there r no targets in stock markets there is only an intrinsic value in stock." but direction of stoCK would depend on my future projections going right.so get your analysis done bcose wat has been written above is not gud enough |

MY NEXT PICK is MADHAV MARBLES.it is a small cap with market cap of 84 crores trading at a price of 94/-.
LOGIC: 1.good track record of the company.a consistently performing company. 2.in a great consumption space-marbles,granite tiles, sanitarywares. 3.underperformance of small caps has made this space a value buy for a value investor. 4.in this fy i beleive it will end up with an eps of about 15/- 5.mktcap/sales of less than 1 6.dividend of 3/- for last 3 yrs 7.i beleive this is a value bargain for a long term investor with very little downside. concerns: 1.low promoter holding {44%} 2.not so known company allinall i beleive it is a value buy with a longterm perspective. |
