as a fundamental guy i do not invest in sector which is a momentum sector.i m more inclined towards value.what happens in bull mkt is that stocks in momentum tend to get 15 to 20% overvalued.i think that is y i beleive rajsree may be a good momentum counter 4 which have to ask technical guys.as far as funda is concerned this year it shud end up with an eps of 8-9/-.in terms of pe ratio as a commodity company it is quite expensive.but sugars are best looked in terms of price/total crushing capacity.in that terms i m told by one of my friends that it is quite good.and management has indicated some expansion plans which should come into picture by fy08. but all in all i would say it is in a very gud sector where there r some funamentals and momentum.but valuewise i would say it is more a technical call so it shud do well.but funda wise i m not too impressed.i would like to say that kcp sugars is my favourite in sugar sector |

HI Misty
Members of this forum are very much aware of the goings on in this forum. Your posts will not get unnoticed. In the long term it bound to become a must view thread if you continuously post. Since the scripts mentioned here are less known entities it would be better if you devise a format for recommendations with cmp,tp and period with sl and fundamentals and reasons for investing. Moreover you are filling up a crucial gap in the forum i.e. fundamental picks. Will follow your thread closely. Regards Pankaj |

Next pick i would like to mention is greenply industries
cmp-128 rationale: 1.it should end this year with an eps of about 10/- 2.extremely good sector-woods and decoratives.it is directly connected with the boom in real estate 3.very good management 4.spends 1/3 of revenues in research 5.mktcap/sales less than 1. 6.fiis investment of 8%.this though is a technical consideration. all in all it is a hidden gem in market .it should be bought with a 1-2 year perspective |

With infrastructure growth and real estate growth projected ahead of other sectors demand for plywood would be robust and this may be one of the companies ( with high visibility) to get benefitted,of course. This may prove to be a real gem regards pankaj |
