Trading Account for Commodity Trading?

#1
Hi

My name is Harbinder Singh. I am new in share trading. I have 2 questions :

1. I want to trade shares and buy e gold or e silver from National Spot Exchange http://www.nationalspotexchange.com/

To buy e-gold or e-silver they say that I have to open an trading account with any one of the authorised Dps. I am wondring if there is any company which offer both types of services (Share trading + Coomodities) together. I don't want to pay AMC for 2 different accounts.

2. Which company is best to open a trading account with.

I hope to get replys soon.

With Regards

Harbinder Singh

Most Brokers presently offer Equity, Derivatives, Commodities & Currency Trading Accounts in a single Log-in.

Negotiate Brokerage for all segments & try and get Free AMC for Demat...which should be possible.....

Thanks for the reply.

Yes most are offering them. But I think they charge Annual Charges differently (AMC) on both types seperately.

I am looking for someone which offer both in a single AMC.

Kindly advice.

One doesn't need separate Demat accounts for Equity & Commodity.... just a single Demat Account will serve for everything that can be held in demat form.

This is the first time I am hearing about having a separate Demat Account for Commodities.....

Please understand...Demat is nothing but Your Electronic Locker where you can keep your valuables in electronic form.....

If you really need to know the rules and etc...go to NSDL or CDSL website and check.
