Stock Recommendation Sites...

Hi,

There are couple of stock recommendation sites which are given below.

www.10paisa.com
www.7stocks.com
www.midcaps.in

All these sites are charging Rs 2500 for 3 months subscription and they are claiming to provide recommedation for short term trading.

Does any one have an idea as to how reliable are these sites are?. Is it worth subscribing for 3 months?

Hi Balaji,

I would strongly suggest you do your own tracking and trading. If you are not up to it yet work on it and believe me you will get there. Once you start taking tips from others you are going to be dependent on them.

As for the sites mentioned , since I do not subscribe to them I am in no position to comment on their reliability.

I have nearly 12 to 15 stocks in my portfolio, but most of them are fundamentally strong companies (Dabur, SBI, Reliance Capital, Infosys etc) though I purchased them based on recommendations as well as my own interests.

Almost all of them are performing great. I just wanted to know how reliable these sites are.

Let's wait and see if some one else has ideas on these.

I want to tell you that I have taken recommendations of various services like this midcap, etc. here and chamatcar and even tried daily trends of Prakash gaba, but I was disappointed. The only service if you want to subscribe I think is 5paisa.com. They charge Rs. 500/month. Don't go for there intraday stuff, it is not worth to go for. The stocks they recommend for delivery basis, go from them. They are good midcap stocks with very limited downside and maintain in these stocks with stop losses provided by them. Moreover they also provide news before they come on TV, like bonuses, rights, or announcements. Bye shares of companies announcing bonuses and rights, but no shares of order announcement. I am telling you from my experience as I have wasted a lot on these stuff and my capital also. Try to develop your trading system and learn, only this is going to provide you the ability to sustain and earn, as I am doing.

Hi balaji,

Dont ever ever pay to these sites. I had a bad experience yesterday. Being new to the share market, i thought of subscribing to one of the sites. So i subscribed to 7shares.com for one month trial for 1000 rupees, just to analyse their performance and authencity of the company operating. But after paying i have not got any newsletter from them, even i wrote to their mail address info@7shares.com giving all my details of payment. so far they have not replied nor they have sent the newsletter to my mail id. I JUST WANT TO TELL OTHERS DONT EVER EVER PAY TO THESE SITES. PASS THIS MESSAGE TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. I HAVE LEARNT A LESSON. LET US FALL IN TO THEIR TRAP.

I have to take back my above comments regarding the 7shares.com. Today i have received mail confirming my payment and also newsletter. Now i am going to watch the performance of their stock recommendation for another one month before investing.sorry for the above information.
