How One company can be listed on more than one stock exchanges

Hi to all

I Joined traderji.com with the intent of enhancing my knowledge about stock market.

I am a finance student but donot have practical knowledge of stock market.

The first question that i want to ask is One company can be listed on More than one exchanges.
Like Bharti airtel is listed on BSE as well as NSE. The prices on both the exchanges are different.

Now if i have 10 shares of airtel and price of it on BSE is more and NSE is less than BSE,,,,

What Can i do about these shares?
If i want to sell these shares, at what price can i sell these.

Please help me clearing this ambiguity

Scrips from Portfolio can be Sold on any exchange....Except for Intraday Trades where one needs to squareoff on the same exchange where the original trade was executed....
