has anyone had success shorting the opening high on bearish stocks? i have done it and made money many times by placing an after market order just below R1. On some occasions when the price did not touch my limit price or didnt stay there long enough the order has not got filled or has got partly executed.
Just remember to use your own pivot points. The ones given by your broker are designed to fill you in at any cost. So beware.
As you will be shorting bearish stocks, the risk is low. The only risk is that your order may not get filled in.
