Stocks in name of deceased

Hi,

My father expired about 4 years back. there are no. of stocks that he had bought which are in paper format which is amounting to a good amount. We want the same to be transferred to our name or sell them off, which ever is simpler to do, but we have no clue what we need to do in this situation or how to go about this.

We request guidance from experts in this matter. Thanking you for your time and support.

There is a procedure that will need to be followed... besides keeping Death Certificate copies handy which will be one of the requirements...for each of the registrars of the companies that your father held the physical shares

Additionally.... if there is a Will left behind..that would also help.

You may get all the procedural details from your Broker's DP department

Remember to get acknowledgment for all that you submit
