Hi,
I want to know what is profit booking and how does it reduce the
sensex index . Please give me some working examples

When 1000 people want to sell 1 chocolate each, to someone who wants only 500 choclates...the price of each chocolate comes down. Similarly when more people want to sell, the price of the scrip goes down and SENSEX falls.
