Security Wise Historical Data

Thanks for the reply vmonu, but I need to download this data by it's URL. Actually I am developing a tech analysis software. And this data needs to be downloaded every trading day.

So I do not have the luxury of right clicking on the link.

Do you have any better solution for this please!?

Hi all,

I am trying to download stock wise data from NSEIndia.com from the following link: http://www.nseindia.com/content/equities/eq_scriphistdata.htm

The problem is that I get a "Not Found" error if I try to download an year old data in CSV format. Example, I tried to view the data for 26th May 2009. The data was displayed on the browser. And I got this "Not Found" error as soon as I clicked on the "Download file in csv format" link.

Can anyone suggest how and/or where I can get stock-wise EOD data!?

Must be a temporary thing. Do try it after a day or two. I had used the link a few months back.
A little tedious way, when you seek data beyond 5 or 6 months it displays the data for about 100 trading sessions. Just select the entire data by dragging the mouse and copy paste it in Excel File.
