Thoughts on SBI? Long -term bet?

Hi Guys

Do you think this is a good time to buy SBI after the disappointing numbers last week? I am thinking of it for a long term perspective (say 3 yrs +).

around 1900-2000 should be good to get it for long term.

Instead, my suggestion is go for State Bank of Travancore, whose Book value is almost equal to the market value and fundamentals like EPS is good and improving. They had paid 160% dividend (Rs.16/- per share) for year ending 31.3.10. For Rs.1900=2000, u can get 3 shares of SBT. I think, this is better than SBI

Any other thoughts? I was reading SP Tulsian's article where he said SBI is currently a good bet for long term but I am concerned about the provisioning expected for next year.
