Pidilite bonus shares

Hi,

I had bought 40 shares of pidilite 2 months ago. As you guys know there was a 1:1 bonus shares issue for pidilite and the record date was 17th. Till when should I be holding the shares to be eligible for bonus shares. (The stock value had halved on 15th itself)

You have to hold them till record date to receive the bonus shares. As the record date is over, you will now get the 40 bonus shares credited to your demat account. You can sell the existing 40 shares at the prevailing price. The prevailing price has halved due to the bonus shares.
