hello,
I have come across many posts where new traders have expressed their inability to purchase metastock because of the high cost (26000 + taxes). That sure is expensive and I myself couldn't afford it in the beginning. So i just want to let you guys know that metastock comes with two licenses and can be installed on two computers with the same activation keys.
A friend of mine recently bought a licensed copy and shared it with another trader (13000 each approx) and they are both doing fine. The only hitch is that both users will have to be in the same city, just in case you need the cd to reinstall it. Some original cd's are copy protected with the watermark or other technology and both need to have access to the original cd.
The licensed copy of amibroker costs about the same as half the price of metastock, but metastock is a better program (so i feel) with an excellent scanning engine (something it has always been known for).
Anyway the choice is yours. Just thought i'd let you know.
Kindly note that though two licenses are probably meant for the users pc and laptop, this is perfectly legal as you are paying for it anyway and equis should have no problem with it.
cheers...
