Please help regarding broker!!!!!

i have used three brokerages untill now: -

icicidirect, ventura, and Kotak securities

i have faces many problems with these and mentioning plus and negatives of these brokerages: -


ICICIDirect: -
Plus: - Security is enhanced, very much user friendly(customer care support hardly needed), BTST possible or not is made clear

Negatives: - Very High Brokerage, Web Based, Slow site, No charting faility at all(not tick by tick)
(data is around 4 mnths back )

Ventura: -
Plus: - Terminal is good(once u understand the system fully and adopt it then only), Very low brokerage, phone support available, margine funding four times( good or bad for different people ), Charting is average

Negatives: - Low security, no BTST(buy today sell tomorrow) short sell and short buy occurs most of the times, on t+2 day if you ave any stock at 4 times leverage the marin i blocked and account is locked.
(currently using)

Kotak Securities: -
Plus: - 4 Times funding 10 times intraday, 4 times funding can be carried farword for 18% interest per year, Customer care supprt very helpful, research department is also good( deepends if you like to take market outlook or not), BTST possible

Negative: - Odin Diet is very poor(customizable but poor in case of charts), fund in and fund out system is not good, and many more...cant explain....really long deals and poor servies., No technical indicators for charts like mad, stochastic, rsi, averages nothing(onl fibonaci and trendlines)



i am looking for some brokerage that can provide me all the plus above like

charting with full indicators, 10 times intraday margin, btst, and other plus points excluding the negatives...


i am currently looking farword toward indiabulls. if any body knows any other which is best plz tell me...

the main thing is that i want charting in built...not with some charting software....

If you want inbuilt charting, Trade Tiger of sharekhan is excellent, but their brokerage is on the higher side, unless you have good volumes. If you can pay lump-sum amount as advance brokerage, you can avail lower brokerage as under:


Power India Bulls (PIB) also, it seems from their demo, has good charting features, but not used personally.

There are some data extractors for PIB and ODIN platforms that can scrape real time data from broker's feed and import into popular charting software like amibroker, etc.

Did any body know about or have used the power indiabulls....i have heard there brokerage is negotiable and charts are also filled with all indicators and tools....

but there customer service i think is poor....as they dont reply to the mails sent to them on their site....

Venutura - Intraday 0.041%, Cash, 0.48%, Futures 0.031%
Kotak Securities - Intraday 0.08% appx, cash 0.80% appx, Futures 0.041%
Icicidirect (the old brokerage) - Intraday 0.15%, Cash 1.48%, Futures i dont know


i think according to this ventura is the cheapest...and its system is quite adoptable to me....but charting is the main i am looking for with good support and reliability

i have heard that they got the terminal now...but i have already stopped using there icicidirect account....i need to close it and get my self issued new one....haveb you used it personally???? is the charting facility good....???? i want indicators like stochastics, averages, candlesticks charts, adx mac d...

my vote goes to sharekhan

My opinion is go for a paid charting / data service if you are into TA, and go for the cheapest broking service available. The 2 are rarely found together. The above is only if you are a Professional trader, else any one of the above will do fine.
