say, their is a stock which has opened high with the upper circuit, their is no seller but only huge bids from buyers, in such case the volumes traded should be zero but how come it is still shown that the trader volumes are more than zero, does that mean, that some people have sold and some lucky have bought them, but how is this possible to only few buyers, is it because they have placed their bids at much high price than the market price or is their any other way in which they have bought those shares...........in my case, i have known that a share is going to rise for sure, when the market opened, their are only buyers but no sellers, but still the volumes are more than zero, how did those given volumes have been traded, is their any way to buy such shares, like premarket buys, after hours trade, buy at high price...........please help me with this.

For instance ... Cals Refinery trading at 80p. On open it his UC at 85p. No sellers huge buyer.

At 10am I feel no more upside or maybe slight .. then what I do is - sell at 85p and the first order placed for buy gets fulfilled. As ppl start selling the next and next and ... start getting fulfilled ...

Since demand is extreme and supply gets diminised to zero as soon as sell order placed, u see no sellers but still some traded qty.

thanks bhai for your reply, which helped me know the mystery behind these volumes.........so, if i want to buy a highly demanded stock, i have to just place the order, sit back and watch for it to get executed, if their is any sellar at the market price or limit price whichever i placed, i will get the shares or else it will remain pending.........thank you very much once again.

When u place the order, u join the queue of orders. Depending on time of order entry, mkt price, limit price, trigger price etc, u get the position in the queue. So place the order and wait in the queue for your number to come.. (sorry u can't bribe NSE trade matching terminal and jump the queue).

Only buyer.. indicate that there is huge qty ready to buy at current mkt price.. so as long supply doesn't exceed this huge buy qty.. this order will be the first to get priority.
Only case is if seller starts asking higher price..and this order is not ready to pay that high price (which doesn't happen most of the time) but u are ready to pay sellers price ie. mkt price.. then u can by-pass the huge order.

Happy Trading
