Query on Educomp

Hello to the all at this BIG informative forum... lovely to be part of you people.

To start with I have a specific query

I wanted to do some value investing so i chose some 5 stock and 1 is Educomp. I kept buying from 25 each from the 923 downward and have accum 100 so far. I was under the impression the stock had hit the bottom last week but today it dipped 100 rupees and i didnt have cash enough to buy. Any idea why this stock which was the market darling is falling so badly. should i stop or continue to accum..

Hi,
though your investing style of value picking is fine, the stock you have selected doesn't seem to offer value at these prices. value stocks are not always market darlings. :thumb:

Thx Rajesh. The 1rst reply came quicker that i thot. I will remember this advise for sure. Sometime we learn from mistakes and sometimes being ignorant.

that was too quick on your part to realize the mistakes/ignorance. you are on right path

Educomp stock is a good one looking from long-term perspective. The field even has great days to come....so your choice is a good one but the fair-price for buying this stock should be around 600-650.

I would advice you to exit this stock at present and better buy@ lower levels.

And one more,just don't stick to 5 stocks for value investing. There are numerous stocks out there with great capability.Research and invest.
